Return policy

IF YOU’VE RECEIVED A VISIBLY DAMAGED PACKAGE

If you’ve received a visibly damaged package (additional cardboard box or the original product packaging), you have a right to demand a replacement product without any additional charges within 24 hours after the product has been received from the courier. If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

Send an e-mail at support@meloot.com with the subject Return and fill out the the e-mail with the following:

  1. Your personal information (first and last name, contact and order number)
  2. Mention that the reason of return is “Package visibly damaged”
  3. Attach pictures from which the damage can be evidently seen
  4. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  5. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

You’re not mandated to replace the product that arrived in a damaged packaging but in case you decide to do so, that packaging must not be opened nor used for other purposes. The product must not be used, damaged or in any way modified. If there are marks from the opening visible on the package, your right to demand a replacement product this way is cancelled. In case we accept your demand, you will have to send us the received product and its original packaging and we will send you a new one. We will provide you with an address to which you will send your product and after it arrives and we confirm that you’ve followed these steps, a new one will be sent to you. If for any reason we aren’t able to send you a replacement product, you will be given a full refund. You are obligated to send the product with the original packaging in an additional cardboard box so it wouldn’t be damaged in transit. All shipping costs are covered by us.

IF YOU’VE RECEIVED A WRONG PRODUCT (NOT THE ONE ON YOUR ORDER)

If you’ve received a product which is not the one that’s listed on your order, you have a right to demand a replacement product without any additional charges within 24 hours after the product has been received from the courier. If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

Send an e-mail at support@meloot.com with the subject Return and fill out the the e-mail with the following:

  1. Your personal information (first and last name, contact and order number)
  2. Mention that the reason of return is “Wrong product shipped”
  3. Attach pictures from which can clearly be seen that the shipped product does not match the one on your order
  4. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  5. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

You’re not mandated to replace the wrongly shipped product but if you decide to do so, you must act in following way:
The delivered product mustn’t be used, damaged or in any way modified. Original packaging in which the product has been delivered must be undamaged and in “as was when it was delivered” state. If we accept your demand, you will have to send us the received product and its original packaging and we will send you a new one. We will provide you with an address to which you will send your product and after it arrives and we confirm that you’ve followed these steps, a new one will be sent to you. If for any reason we aren’t able to send you a replacement product, you will be given a full refund. You are obligated to send the product with the original packaging in an additional cardboard box so it wouldn’t be damaged in transit. All shipping costs are covered by us.

IF YOU’VE RECEIVED A FAULTY OR VISIBLY DAMAGED PRODUCT

If you’ve received a faulty or a visibly damaged product, you have a right to demand a replacement product without any additional charges within 24 hours after the product has been received from the courier. If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

Send an e-mail at support@meloot.com with the subject Return and fill out the the e-mail with the following:

  1. Your personal information (first and last name, contact and order number)
  2. Mention that the reason of return is “Faulty or visibly damaged product”
  3. Write a defect description in which you will describe what is faulty, in detail
  4. Attach pictures from which the defects can clearly be seen
  5. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  6. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

You’re not mandated to replace the faulty/visibly damaged product but if you decide to do so, you must act in following way:

RETURNING PRODUCTS THAT BECAME FAULTY

If your product became faulty in any way, you have a right to demand a replacement product without any additional charges within 14 DAYS after the product has been received from the courier. If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

Send an e-mail at support@meloot.com with the subject Return and fill out the the e-mail with the following:

  1. Your personal information (first and last name, contact and order number)
  2. Mention that the reason of return is “product became faulty”
  3. Write a defect description in which you will describe what is faulty, in detail
  4. Attach pictures from which the defects can clearly be seen
  5. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  6. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

RETURNING PRODUCTS WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION (RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)

You have a right to return a product without any justification within 14 days after it has been delivered to you and qualify for a full refund. If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

Send an e-mail at support@meloot.com with the subject Return and fill out the the e-mail with the following:

  1. Your personal information (first and last name, contact and order number)
  2. Mention that the reason of return is “Right of withdrawal”
  3. Attach pictures of the delivered product so we can confirm it isn’t damaged, modified or used
  4. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  5. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

In case you want to exercise this right, you must act in a following way:
The product mustn’t be damaged, used or modified in any way. Original packaging in which the product has been delivered must be undamaged and in “as was when it was delivered” state. We retain the right to inspect products for which you’ve handed in this request in our facilities. If we decide to exercise this right, we will inform you of an address to which you will send the product in its original packaging for the inspection. After we’ve completed the inspection and if we’ve confirmed you followed the provided steps, we will give you a full refund. You are obligated to send the product with the original packaging in an additional cardboard box so it wouldn’t be damaged in transit. All shipping costs are covered by you.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Every product on our platform has a 2 year warranty period if there isn’t a different warranty period mentioned in the product information. Warranty can be successfully activated if the defects weren’t the result of wrongful handling by the user. If the defects are caused by negligence, hits, brute force, misuse, tampering, wrong voltage or installation, or wear and tear, your warranty will be void. In the case of computer products, the guarantee does not cover virus removal, software recovery for this reason or hard disk reinstallation after formatting. In case you’ve successfully activated the warranty, the product will be repaired or replaced. In case we aren’t able to complete said actions, you will receive a full refund.

If you decide to exercise this right, you must follow these steps:

  3. Write a defect description in which you will describe what is faulty, in detail

  5. Attach pictures of the outer packaging which contains shipping labels
  6. Attach a copy or a scan of the receipt

Additional things to look out for:

In order to successfully activate your warranty period, you must act in a following way:
The product mustn’t contain any damage or faultiness aside than that described in the e-mail nor can it be modified in any way. Original packaging in which the product has been delivered must be undamaged and in “as was when it was delivered” state. We retain the right to inspect products for which you’ve handed in this request in our facilities. If we decide to exercise this right, we will inform you of an address to which you will send the product in its original packaging for the inspection. After we’ve completed the inspection and if we’ve confirmed you followed the provided steps, we will either repair or replace your product with a new one. If for any reason we aren’t able to do this, we will give you a full refund. You are obligated to send the product with the original packaging in an additional cardboard box so it wouldn’t be damaged in transit. All shipping costs are covered by us.

WHAT ABOUT CLOTHES?

When it comes to apparel, sizing from different brands can vary. That’s why we’ve put up a size chart into every product. If you’ve received your apparel in the size that is on your order, you cannot try it on and then return it if it doesn’t fit you. When it comes to apparel, once something was tried on, washed or used, it cannot be returned. Hygiene is very important to us so all of our customers will receive products that haven’t been worn by anyone. On that note, if you decide to return a product to us, please abide by these rules and follow the procedure described under RETURNING PRODUCTS WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION (RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)
